When you arrive on a tropical island, it just seems natural to want to explore the reefs and warm, crystalline waters. Icacos is our usual destination but the Captain has the final decision depending on the water conditions and to ensure you have the best snorkeling on the day of the tour. The reefs off the north east coast are protected by the Department of Natural Resources to ensure cleanliness and safety for all, due to soft sand and being totally inhabited.
Our marina is located in Fajardo, which is an hour away. They will be provide with quality snorkel gear upon boarding the catamaran for a 30 minute voyage to our first protected cay where we spend approximately 2 hours for beach and snorkeling fun!
A buffet lunch of tropical fruit, build your own salad or sandwich with their freshly baked bread, selection of deli meats, cheeses and to wash it all down they provide unlimited soda, piña coladas, their famous rum punches and fun music.
Then we set sail towards our second snorkeling stop where we provide flotation devices as this is deeper waters. At this reef you can encounter a variety of tropical fish, i.e. trumpet and butterfly to name a few. If you are really lucky you might encounter a Hawksbill sea turtle. Keep your eyes open!
We return to dock at approximately 3:30 pm.
We go out 7 days a week!
If you get easily seasick please take a Dramamine pill so you can enjoy the trip.
Please note that it is the Captain’s decision whether to cancel due to unfavorable weather conditions. Recommended items to bring along are: Swimsuits already on, sunblock, sunglasses, cap/hat, towels and a change of clothes.
